Gong Practitioners Protest at the Chinese Embassy for Extending
Persecution Outside China (Photo)
On December 16, 2005, nearly a hundred Falun Gong
practitioners in Wellington went to the Chinese embassy in New Zealand
to protest the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong and
also protest the CCP for extending the persecution to New Zealand and
interfering with citizen's freedom of speech.

New Zealand Falun Gong practitioners protest outside Chinese Embassy
In the past three years, Falun Gong practitioners in Wellington have
persisted in peacefully appealing outside the Chinese Embassy every
morning to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of
Falun Gong and call for people to help stop the persecution. Falun Gong
practitioners' peaceful and compassionate acts and their unceasing
efforts have won positive responses from city government, the police and
passersby. Passersby often encourage practitioners by saying, "You
have done quite well, I see you here every day, I support you."
When passersby see practitioners' persistent efforts in peacefully
appealing despite rain or shine, they encouraged practitioners,
"Never give up."
Last month, the Chinese Embassy staff was shifted. The newly arrived
personnel frequently pressured the city hall, and made phone calls to
harass the city hall and the police. Due to the pressure from the
Chinese Embassy, the city hall and the police have delayed issuing a
permit to Falun Gong practitioners to protest outside the embassy.
The police and the city hall officers said to practitioners,
"You are good people, you are very peaceful, but we are
tired." Practitioners have doubled their efforts to clarify the
truth to the city hall and the police, and gathered outside the Chinese
Embassy on December 16 to protest the CCP extending the persecution
outside China and calling for people to see through the true nature of
the CCP's falsehoods, violence and deception, and help stop the
persecution.
Several days ago, Falun Gong practitioners from Wellington received a
letter from a city councilor. The letter clearly expressed, "You
have the right to peacefully protest in front of the Chinese
Embassy."
The activity attracted attention from local media, the newspaper Dominion
Post that has the largest circulation in Wellington, Raido NZ,
Radiolive conducted interviews with Falun Gong practitioners.
