Dafa Photo Exhibition Tours in South Island ================================================================================= While people are enjoying the Christmas holiday, Falun Dafa practitioners in New Zealand held Dafa photo exhibitions in the cities of Dunedin and Invercargill, located in the southernmost areas of the world.
The visitors to the exhibition included people from Australia, Germany, America, New Zealand, as well as Chinese tourists and students. Many of them knew about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, but still felt it hard to believe that a regime could so completely stifle people's freedom of belief. Many visitors left messages in the visitors' book such as, "Shocking! Too unfair!" The practitioners introduced them to the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to get more facts and understand why such brutal persecution occurs in China. The photos of practitioners' peaceful practice also attracted many people to stop to look. Many visitors admired the photos that displayed miracles, such as the Falun emblem and light emitted from strong energy fields. ================================================================================== The city of Nelson has the longest hours of sunshine in southern New Zealand, and many tourists visit Nelson around Christmas and New Year's Day every year. During the New Year Holiday of 2006, a Fa-Validating Photo Exhibition opened in this beautiful sunshine capital. It was exhibited in shopping centers, on the beach and on busy streets. Many people learned about the benefits of Falun Dafa and the persecution of Falun Gong in China through the exhibition.
Falun Gong practitioners greeted tourists from all over world with "Happy New Year!" Many people had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong in China; however, they still experienced a sharp contrast between the beauty of Falun Dafa and the cruel torture. Written on the album were many comments such as, "It is so sad!" "Stop the torture!" "Freedom is all!" Some who had never heard about Falun Gong became interested in learning Falun Gong. Many people thanked Falun Gong practitioners for introducing Falun Dafa to them. ===================================================================================== Christchurch is the largest city on the South Island of New Zealand. It is also known as "Garden City." The "Falun Dafa practitioners Validating the Fa" Photo Exhibition made a special point to visit this beautiful city.
It was the New Year holiday season and many people went to the famous Botanical Garden of Christchurch. The photo exhibition was close to the entrance, so visitors from Christchurch, as well as foreign tourists had the opportunity to see these valuable pictures. After talking to many visitors, practitioners found out that many people had already heard about Falun Dafa or had received truth-clarification materials before, and they had some knowledge of the persecution in China. Many of their questions therefore turned to the theory of Falun Dafa and the exercises. They also wanted to know more about the Communist Party's autocratic rule in terms of the economy, culture and human rights. The practitioners answered their questions and then recommended that they read the book, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to get their questions answered in more depth.
