Gong Rally Protests CCP's Persecution
(2007-07-20) Falun Gong
practitioners in New Zealand held a rally and a parade at City Hall
Square in Wellington to protest the persecution of Falun Gong by the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) over the past eight years. They
demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercise. The Divine Land
Marching Band played "Falun Dafa Is Good" and other music.

Falun Gong practitioners held a parade downtown around noon, carrying
pictures of persecution victims in their hands. Their banners stated,
"Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" and "Stop harvesting organs from
living Falun Gong practitioners."
Busy passersby took fliers and stopped to find out more information
about the persecution of innocent Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP.
Practitioners rallied in front of the Chinese Embassy around noon.
Mr. Huang Guohua condemned the CCP for persecuted his wife to death when
she was three month pregnant. Their little daughter lost her mother.
Former CCP diplomat Chen Yonglin, who openly broken free from the CCP,
gave his advice to his former colleagues in the Chinese Embassy: See
clearly the trend of quitting the CCP and leave a way out for
themselves.
Though it was drizzling, Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight
vigil in the evening to mourn their fellow practitioners in China who
had died in the persecution.
